What Problem We Solve

HELPING BANKS PREVENT CARD FRAUD AND ACCOUNT TAKEOVER

Track4 is disrupting the way banks prevent card fraud and account takeover. Through our automated data collection platform, Track4 leverages machine learning and data analytics to detect millions of identities and cards that have been compromised before any fraud has occurred. Using our proprietary technology, we are able to identify exactly which compromised cards will be used fraudulently. In addition to preventing fraud, our data can be used to pinpoint when and where a breach occurred. We offer 24/7 email alerts and a real time feed of your compromised cards along with other analytics. Please contact us for a free evaluation.

ZERO FRAUD PLATFORM FOR PREVENTING CARD FRAUD

Track4 leverages massive data collection to prevent fraud, we do not collect data directly from our partners in order to do so. We can help you identify common points of purchase from difficult to pinpoint small breaches. We provide a timeline of the breach and identify which cards will be used in fraudulent transactions with 100% certainty. Track4 can even identify compromised CNP data, which has no common point of purchase. Our platform detects compromised cards BEFORE any card fraud is committed anywhere. Our proprietary technology is the best possible compromised card detection platform available.

WHY COMMON POINT OF PURCHASE DETECTION IS INEFFECTIVE FOR CARD NOT PRESENT (CNP) FRAUD PREVENTION

A majority of CNP fraud occurs due to compromised computers and advanced phishing campaigns. This means that there is no common point of purchase making traditional detection methods relying on common point of purchase ineffective as a means of identifying compromised cards. If your current fraud detection platform relies on a common point of purchase, you should contact Track4 to learn about our modern approach to preventing CNP fraud.

CARD PRESENT (CP) FRAUD IS BECOMING HARDER TO TRACK

Large retail businesses have shifted to accepting secure payments through EMV chip enabled POS terminals. However, there are still many types of businesses that rely on faster payments and preauthorization charges, which can not be done using the chip.

For example, many restaurants have opted to not make the switch in favor of faster swipe enabled payments. For open tabs, bars make a preauthorization which can only be done by typing the card number manually or swiping the card. Hotels also require a temporary authorization, generally swiping their client’s cards. Small businesses with aging technology and POS systems are still swiping cards as well.

This means that CP fraud is still a major concern and harder to track, as these are usually small breaches. The smaller the breach, the harder it is to track. Criminals know this as well and take full advantage.

PREVENTING ACCOUNT TAKEOVER AND FRAUDULENTLY CREATED ACCOUNTS

Has your institution ever had an account taken over by a criminal? They may have provided intimate knowledge of the card holder such as SSN, DOB and credit history. Our platform can help you identify at-risk clients who have had their identity exposed. Knowing this information, you can establish higher tiers of due diligence when changes are proposed on their account.

Has your institution fallen victim to fraudulently cashed checks? Many times criminals use stolen identities to create accounts to cash checks. When leveraging Track4’s data on exposed identities, institutions can request additional information and documentation when establishing new accounts.
